The challenge
A wide range of work, hidden on one page
Shortridge Construction does a wide range of work: commercial and residential concrete, land and site preparation, excavation, demolition, foundations, house raising, steel buildings and new homes. Their previous website was a single-page template with a few blog and project pages. It had no individual service pages, no pages for the towns they serve and no separation between homeowner and commercial work, so neither customers nor Google could see the full range.
They needed a site that would show a homeowner and a general contractor the same thing: one accountable crew that can take a project from bare ground to finished concrete.
What we built
A site that answers every question before the call
A page for every service
Ten service pages, each with what is included, how the job runs, photos of that work and answers to common questions.
A page for every town
Ten service-area pages across Northern Ohio, plus a schematic map showing distance from their yard.
Two clear paths
Separate commercial and residential pages, so owners, builders and homeowners each find the work that matters to them.
A real project gallery
41 photos from their own jobs, filterable by type of work, with captions that describe what each photo shows.
Field Notes
Ten practical articles on concrete, site work and foundations that answer what customers search before they call.
Company pages that build trust
About, process, safety, careers, trade partners and FAQ, written plainly and without invented claims.

Under the hood
Fast, findable and built to last
The parts customers never see, but Google does.
- Static pages that load fast on a phone, with modern image formats sized for each screen
- Structured data for the business, services, breadcrumbs and FAQs
- Spam-protected project and trade-partner forms that email the office
- Redirects from every old page address, so existing links and rankings carry over
- A build step that checks every internal link and image before anything goes live

Measuring what matters
The new site launched in November 2026, with Google Analytics, Search Console and form tracking in place from day one. We will publish calls, form requests and ranking changes here once there is a full season of data to report honestly.
In the meantime, the best way to judge the work is to use it. Visit shortridgeconstruction.com on your phone and try to find a service, a town or a way to get an estimate.
